 Aerohive AP Showing Up Under Different VIQ

Hello,

I have an Aerohive AP130 that I would like to add to my VIQ but it's showing up under a different VIQ. What do I need to do to get it switched?

The S/N is 01301504140129

Hi Nickolas, thanks for reaching out. Apologies for the slow response here, I was out all last week. I see the old record for that device, we'll need to get the original owner's permission to remove the old registration. I've reached out to the previous owner now, I'll let you know as soon as I hear back from them. Please feel free to check in with me here anytime for an update.

Thanks for the information. As far as I know we received the AP from a 3rd party reseller who was selling this to us refurbished. I understand your processes but I'm not sure who the previous owner is or if they can be reached in any way. I appreciate your time and effort looking into this.

We'd like to have this AP up and running on our VIQ as soon as possible.

Hello,

I'm just looking for an update. We're needing to get this AP setup ASAP. Please let me know if you've found anything out or if you have another method of me getting the AP released from the old VIQ so I can add it to ours.

Hi Nickolas, thanks for checking in. I haven't heard from the original owner yet, but we have one more check in to go. After that I'll be reaching out to the old account team to see if they can approve the release for us. Unfortunately there isn't another process for this, but I will move things along as fast as we can here.
