    Dear Extreme Experts,

    My company have 10 extreme switches x460-48t.
    How to check their warranty status??? (I have information about product code and serial)

    Hi, Tuan!

    Warranty and service is different points.
    X460 have lifetime warranty.

    Service status you can check directly (in eSupport website) if you buy direct service and ask for this from your distributor or reseller.

    But I only have information about product code and serial.

    how to check status of warranty with product code and serial?

    AlexandrP stated 460s that shipped after June 29th 2009 all come with LLW.

    So how to tell? The beginning of the serial number tells you when the product was made. If it starts with 0610 as an example then it was made in June 2010. If yours are older than 0609 then they may have the one year warranty.

    The other thing you can try is log into the e-support and go to My Account. Under there is a link for My company's Assets. Try and do a query with the serial number. Asset number and serial number are the same.

    Hlo guys,

    I need to check the warranty status of the extreme switch witch was recently procured by our institute.

    So i need to check the warranty of the same.Please help me out in this.I have register the  product but did not help in checking the warranty

    Hi, Paul! but, as I know - first 2 digits is production year, but not second 2 digits. That is mean - this switch was made in 2006 year. Or I'm wrong? Thank you!

    The first two digits are year, and the second two are week. So in the example above, that switch would have been manufactured in the 9th week of 2006.
