  • 1.  Ridgeline Unused Ports

    Discovered a problem whereby the unused port report for Ridgeline does not work.

    In order to get any output, the inactive period must be set to be either on or above 16153 days and 10 hours to display.

    Nothing mentioned in release notes for service pack to suggest issue with reports function?

    I did check with TAC and it appears this is an issue. At this point we do not have any time frame on a fix. As you may be aware we are releasing NetSight 6.0 which will give us the initial support for XOS products. The plan is to continue rapid development on NetSight to provide feature parody with Ridgeline.

    Any customer who uses Ridgeline and has a service contract will be able to migrate to NetSight for continued support.

    I hope that helps. If I have a chance I will test reporting in NS 6.0 and see if this report is in there.

    Thanks for this. Is it safe to assume then that Ridgeline will be fazed out and Net Sight become the norm?
