Hello, everybody,

I've noticed a lof of error messages in Netsight > Control > Endpoints like:

1) Unable to resolve IP address using SNMP, NetBIOS or DHCP
2) MAC to IP Resolution Failed

I suppose that there is a connection between two messages. How can I solve the issue?

Many thanks in advance,

Ilya

This is a good place to start.

There are also several other more specific artlcles on the knowledgebase regarding IP resolution.

Thanks, Thomas! I'll start the case in GTAC. Could you please share some links to the articles you've mentioned?)

From the screenshot I'd see that all the clients get the "default catchall" rule - what is the policy behind it > it assume if the login-LAT-port is set to 0 (=unauthenticated) that no DHCP is passing the port = no information in ExtremeControl.
