I picked up a 220 in order to tinker with the OS, as we are looking at extreme for our refresh. After getting it in and starting some of the elearning. I'm thinking that this is not EXOS, because I do not see that referenced anywhere on their site. Am I mistaking?

You are correct.  You need to get a 430 for this.  Not sure who your sales rep is but they may be able to let you get access to some of the virtual systems that are set up.

Virtual EXOS may be a nice option for you: https://github.com/extremenetworks/Virtual_EXOS

Are these standalone images? Or do they require GNS3? Thanks for this location.

These can work either way. There are instructions on the page to load them into VMware and VirtualBox. There's also a set of instructions and files for GNS3.
