Can you please advise me for the below issues

We use 3rd party SFP transceiver In the extreme network switches summit X440-24t .

When we plug in the SFP transceiver. Its work but we check in “show configuration” it shows unsupported optic module.

Is there any commands need to configure in the switch to work with the 3rd party SFP transceiver that it will show supported?

Below is Ports configuration information

Although it is unsupported it will work. You cannot change it to supported but it will work as normal.

Hi,

Thanks for your help.
So there is nothing we can configure or change anything to the switch itself to make it a show a normal supported SFP ?

The determination of whether or not a particular optic is "supported" comes from the optic module itself as part of the manufacturing process.
