Hi Rodrigo,

It sounds like you do not have a controller.  You cannot manage different AP models together without a controller.

You would need to install RFS4000 or VX9000 or similar to be able to manage these from a single point.

Hi Andrew!

I know but why one model detect the other and affect the UI for the old model...

Rodrigo, what firmware versions are you running on each AP?

What do you mean with detect? See it as MINT neighbor?

Which UI do you use, Express, Swift or WiNG?

Hello Rodrigo,

As Robert mentioned above, we will need to know what firmware version each is running on. We would also need to know if you've configured one or both as virtual controllers. It seems like you have the AP7522 set up as a virtual controller, but we'll need your confirmation on this. If this is the case I would recommend you disable this feature and just use both as independent APs.

Regards,

Chris

You can try disabling Mint Link setting Or change the Area Identifier id. This should prevent APs from seeing each other via mint.

Hi!!! both are virtual controller for your own models. Have 8 AP7522 and 2 6532.

Where found this two setting!?

Thx

Since they are both VC, change the Area Identifier id. This should keep all  APs only seeing APs from its own VC.

Hello Rodrigo,

You cannot have 2 virtual controllers in the same broadcast domain. What UI are you using, Swift or Enterprise?

Chris
