IPv6 router license cannot be applied.
"No match for serial number"

On the G-Series routing products, the use of the IPv6 routing feature requires the purchase and installation of an IPv6 Router License.

An IPv6 Router License may be purchased in the form of Part# G3IPV6-LIC, which is node-locked and must be applied individually to each unit using switching command 'set license INCREMENT...' as described in the G-Series CLI Reference Guide:

 G3(su)->set license INCREMENT G3ipv6router 2008.0830 permanent C5FF69B12341 08041171223a
No match for serial number 08041171223a
G3(su)->set license INCREMENT G3ipv6router 2008.0830 permanent C5FF69B12341 08041171223A
Validating license
License successfully validated and set
G3(su)->show license
key: INCREMENT G3ipv6router 2008.0830 permanent C5FF69B12341 08041171223A
status: Active
no licenses for g3advrouter

 In order to obtain the license key to be configured as described above, it is first necessary to redeem your purchased license entitlement at "Enterasys Licensing" (10833).
Note2: The 'set license' command must use an upper-case serial number, though the license string/file itself may display the serial number as lower-case. The command will not be accepted unless the typed serial number matches to both the serial number encrypted into the license key during Activation, and to the actual serial number of the switch to which it is being applied; or error message "No match for serial number <serial#>" will be issued.
Exception: If the "ID_STRING=" serial number prefix is used when Activating a license (10833), the serial number as displayed in the resulting license string/file will in all cases have any letters displayed as upper-case - eliminating the case sensitivity confusion though not the case sensitivity itself.
