Chromecast not streaming over wireless ...

I'm using IdentiFi Wireless in my school district, how do I solve these problems:

- Chromecast is not streaming over wireless

- Chromecast utility is not able to locate the Chromecast device

It's recommended to put that kind of devices in a dedicated VLAN/topology.

Because the setting is only enabled on this VLAN/topology the other VLAN/topology are not "affected".

I understand this will fix the chromecast issue. I just want to verify that enabling Multicast Bridging will not cause conflicts with other wireless devices on the network like laptops or phones.

If you are allowing a specific group like the article suggests vs ALL multicast then it should not cause issues, unless the rates for that group are high.
