Does anyone have Extreme Access Control Stand-Alone information?

We had been told that NAC (Extreme Access Control) was now being sold/licensed as a stand-alone product.

We're looking for more information on how it is licensed - I imagine the end-system licensing has not changed, but from the aspect of the switches/wireless components that need to be configured.

Where these devices had to be added to the NetSight (EMC) database, if NAC is stand-alone, how is that handled/licensed?

Hi Bill,

I believe what you're referencing is the software subscription model that is available. You can find more information here:

The components are still the same, however it's licensed differently.

Hi. The best approach is to contact local sales person to discuss what are actual options.

The Extreme Management does have several licensing options now...

From the Data Sheet for EAC:

ExtremeControl is a stand-alone product...

This goes along with what we were told, that NAC/EAC is available without the purchase/installation of EMC/NetSight, however there is no information about it.
