EXOS: setting Port quiet period for macauthentication

EXOS: setting Port quiet period for macauthentication

On SecureStack switches i set on some customer projects the port quite period timer from 60 secs to a higher value.

set macauthentication portquietperiod time port-string

Unfortunately on current EXOS (16.1.x or 21.1 / 22.2.) there seems to be no command to do same setting.

Do i overlook something in CLI Reference?

After some testing in my lab - i see that EXOS is working a little bit different then EOS.

EXOS does not authenticate a failed client endless based on a port quiet-period like EOS do.
So there is no demand for such a command.

Case is solved - EXOS can handle this!

MAC Auth can be controlled via "configure netlogin agingtime 60" which increases the default agetime of 5 minutes to 60 minutes.

802.1x can be controlled via "configure netlogin dot1x timers quietperiod 3600" which increases the default 8021.x quiet-period of 60 seconds to 60 minutes.

Thanks to GTAC for clarifying that.

Current EXOS 22.3.1.4 do the endless re-Auth every 6 minutes if a System was rejected.

Command needed like set macauthentication portquietperiod time port-string

But it seems currently not available on EXOS 😞
