Where do I go for discussions\documentation\downloads for Foundry (or even Brocade) gear? Brocade sends us to Extreme's site and Extreme doesn't have anything useful to say about it.

Hello Mike,

At this point we don't accept emails for case creation,  so you either call 800-752-8061 or open a case via http://www.mybrocade.com

I didn't send any e-mails to create cases. I posted in the forum generically asking where to go and I opened a case through the website, providing equipment details.

You direct me to a Brocade site that tells me Brocade no longer handles the products I'm asking about and sends me to Extreme.

I haven't called because I hate calling people on the phone for things and if Extreme now owns that portfolio, reaching out to Brocade doesn't make any sense.

However, I have done posted in their community and opened a support case with them, just as I did here.

I'm going to be posting an FAQ document to the knowledge base later today or tomorrow that will cover questions like this. In short, Brocade still handles all support requests until January 15, 2018.

It's my understanding that downloads for SRA products will be available on Extreme's portal on January 15th.

Hi, I just opened a case with Brocade (mybrocade.com) on TurboIron 24x switches.  Who will handle it, Brocade or Extreme?  My Brocade switches do not show up in my Extreme Assets.  Only my Extreme equipment is showing up under assets.

Update -TurboIron cases are not supported by Extreme. They have to be routed to Arris. Please call this number 855-782-5871, and they will be able to assist.

The case will need to be opened on the Extreme portal so that it can be worked by the switching support team that came over from Brocade.
I'll have to ask around about assets. It's my understanding that they will show up, but older products with no warranty or support may not- this is something I'm not sure of though.

You tell me to go to Arris, Brocade copies my ticket over to Ruckus Wireless? What is the true story what happened to Brocade?

Arris purchased Ruckus Wireless and ICX switching from Brocade. Maybe they haven't gotten their systems transferred over yet?
