How could "configure ospf vlan Vxxx priority 0" strings automatically appear in BD or X8 configuration?

How could "configure ospf vlan Vxxx priority 0" strings automatically appear in BD or X8 configuration?

Hello, everybody!

I've noticed a strange issue:

Strings like this:

configure ospf vlan V251 priority 0
configure ospf vlan V3000 priority 0

appeared in my BD8806 and X8 confs.

I do not use any dynamic routing protocols and I've never configured ospf here.

Could you please explain this?

There are MLAG, VRRP and inter-vlan routing for all vlans on my switches.

Many thanks in advance,

Ilya

I guess you are running advanced edge license. This is a default config for it, as you can't have a different priority in that license. It's common to see it. Did you reboot/upgrade lately?

Hello,

yes, you are right. A couple of months ago I've upgraded all the chassis to 16.2...

Hi Ilya,
Execute "show configuration ospf" and check if the vlan has been added to ospf (like mentioned below).

"configure ospf add vlan v251 area x.x.x.x" .

For switches with "Advance Edge" license the default priority for OSPF interface is "0". Once you add any vlan to ospf you can see the CLI what you have mentioned.

configure ospf vlan V251 priority 0

Thanks,

Hello, Parthiban,

I insist, no one has added any ospf configs. These settings have appeared by itself!
