How do I stop the ExtremeManagement service and database in the Linux back-end?

I'm needing to increase the jBoss memory as advised by GTAC. The first step from the article they sent was to stop the service/database. I'm rusty on my Linux commands.

Is there a FAQ or cheat sheet on common commands?

I normally use '/etc/init.d/nsserver stop' and '/etc/init.d/nsdatabase stop'. There's also 'nssnmptrapd' and 'nstftpd' ones.

Hello,

Also, flag that article, if you weren't able to complete the steps provided due to lack of information then that article needs to be reviewed.

You'd find a start/stop in the script folder of EMC...

/usr/local/Extreme_Networks/NetSight/scripts/
