Weda,

Here's an example of creating a vlan, naming it, and then deleting it. Hopefully this helps:

SSA180(su)->set vlan create 432
SSA180(su)->set vlan name 432 TestVlan432
SSA180(su)->clear vlan 432 ?
  modify-pvid Reset any PVIDs associated with deleted VLAN(s)
                               back to 1
  <cr>
SSA180(su)->clear vlan 432?
SSA180(su)->clear vlan 432 ?
  modify-pvid Reset any PVIDs associated with deleted VLAN(s)
                               back to 1
  <cr>
SSA180(su)->clear vlan 432
SSA180(su)->

Thanks for your reply. but this exactly how I was trying. This removes ports and VLAN name. but  if you issue "show vlan", it still appears. What do you think ?

Hello Weda,

Take a look the the L3 vlan int's.
I think it's "no int vlan..."

 As I had implemented Vlan interface IP,
no int vlan  + clear vlan   commands did the job.
