How to disable L3 on non-master slot

Hi

There is a stack, made from different Extreme Networks Summits

* Slot-1 Stack.33 # sh stacking
Stack Topology is a Daisy-Chain
Active Topology is a Daisy-Chain

The problem is in HW Route Table in non-master slots

Hey Igor

The master is what controls all of the L2 and L3 tables and getting them filled within the stack. There is no way to disable L3 on a particular slot. As Alexandr says above when there is a mixed stack the route table of the whole stack is whatever the lowest size table is. So if one switch has a table size of 32K and one has a table of 64K the overall stack is 32K.

Hi, Igor!

You can mix Summit X460, X480, and X670 switches in a stack, Extreme Networks recommends that you do not mix these switch types if the desired routing table exceeds the supported limit for the Summit X460 switch, which is 12,256 IPv4 LPM routes.

In your case X450a have this limit too.
