TheVMAN technology is sometimes referred to as VLAN stacking or Q-in-Q.
I have included the EXOS 16.1 User Guide link below for your reference. Please refer chapter-14 VMAN, there is a sample configuration provided
Please find below KB article for configuring VMAN in EXOS,
Let us know if you have any further questions.
* X460-24t.1 # enable jumbo-frame ports all
* X460-24t.2 # configure vman ethertype 0x8100
* X460-24t.4 # create vman dt tag 2 ^
%% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.
So my question is what should I replace tags with ? Is it outer and inner vlan with a separator ?
Another thing - i guess ethertype is outer vlan type . I could use 9100 or 88a8 (in 0x) too . Am I right ?
The switch vlan (dot1q) table is common for all pvlan, vman, vlan aggr and others.
create vman dt tag 2 -àouter tag
If switch has same tag 2 configured for other vlan we could not able to use the same tag. So it must be different tag number than the local vlan.
configure vman ethertype 0x8100
This is for outer ether type and you can configure other ether types as well.
Note: Ports added to Layer 2 VPN service
VPLS/VMAN should not be part of PVLAN or VLAN
