Hello,

we use 6522 and a few older models which all use option 191 with ASCII for WINGAP or Motorola etc etc

We are now using the new 7522 APs but they aren't going to obtain there config. Please can you confirm the ip controller address for the 7522s should they have for example

0000 45 78 74 72 65 6D 65 41 Extreme
0008 50 20 41 50 37 35 32 32 AP7522

I'm aware of the string, that information has remained the same but i need to know if the classes have changed?

Sorry, misunderstood your question. Looks like Christoph got you the correct answer below.

The format of option 191 should be 'pool1='. For example, if the controller's IP is 10.1.1.1, it would be 'pool1=10.1.1.1'.
