Hi all,

I want to know if there is any support of LLDPv2 (IEEE 802.1AB-2009) on ExtremeXOS?

I'm using it for topology discovery.

Yes, that's right. I can read management address of the neighbors.

Robert,

EXOS will advertise its IP management address (the one assigned to mgmt vlan) if one is configured. If not, it will send its MAC address.

This functionality is disbled by default. To enable it enter the following command:
configure lldp ports [all | port_list] advertise managementaddress

LLDP is supported, but the Data Sheet does not state if it's v2 or not. However, we are having some issues with LLDP, mainly because Extreme switches report their MAC address instead of their IP address. What is your use case for LLDP?
