I have a deleted devide that stays on the map.
The map shows this item:

When the device is added, although there isn't any uplink on the map, clicking "more..." gives the right device details.

I have tried adding/removing the device from within netsight and the console, result is always the same:

  • The device stays on the map even when it's deleted and not in the devices list anymore
  • When the device is added again, the device cannot be added to the map because "it's already on the map".
Result is that I cannot add this device to the map right now.
Could be device related. I tried making a brand new map, added the same device to the map, deleted the device and the device again stays on the map.

When editing the map, I can edit all devices except that one...

Anyone an idea of what might be happening here?
Thanks!

Have you tried restarting XMC services?  Sometimes I've had those type of weird issues and that seems to have done the trick.

Hi Brian, sorry for the late answer, I have tried restarting the services, even the server where netsight is hosted but changes nothing, I just can't delete that device.
I'm getting more and more afraid I'll have to redo the map :-/
