Netsight Syslog setup on XOS

Hi everyone.

Is there a version of xos that will allow Syslog to be setup and pushed out to extreme switches as you do with traps?

Do you mean that NetSight would automatically configure the switch so the switch pushes Syslog messages to NetSight?

Hi yes

In EOS config can be done on Netsight and then pushed to the switches. XOS doesn't seem to work like that yet.

All versions of EXOS support sending logs to a syslog server. You can find information on setting this up at the link below:

Syslog defaults to UDP port 514.
