OSPF Backbone area not visible in OSPF-MIB::ospfAreaEntry

I've been configuring monitoring systems for a stack of 2 X460s running 15.3.3.5 v1533b5-patch1-6 and I've noticed something somewhat frustrating - the backbone area, 0.0.0.0 does not show up when querying OSPF-MIB::ospfAreaEntry, for example:

root@ops# snmpbulkwalk -v2c -c '#####' -OQUs -m OSPF-MIB 'udp':'cor1':'161' OSPF-MIB::ospfAreaEntry
ospfAreaEntry = No Such Object available on this agent at this OID

However, after creating another area on the stack:

root@ops# snmpbulkwalk -v2c -c '#####' -OQUs -m OSPF-MIB 'udp':'cor1':'161' OSPF-MIB::ospfAreaEntry
ospfAreaId.0.0.0.1 = 0.0.0.1
ospfAuthType.0.0.0.1 = none
ospfImportAsExtern.0.0.0.1 = importExternal
ospfSpfRuns.0.0.0.1 = 0
ospfAreaBdrRtrCount.0.0.0.1 = 0
ospfAsBdrRtrCount.0.0.0.1 = 0
ospfAreaLsaCount.0.0.0.1 = 0
ospfAreaLsaCksumSum.0.0.0.1 = 0
ospfAreaSummary.0.0.0.1 = sendAreaSummary
ospfAreaStatus.0.0.0.1 = active
Even without the ospfAreaEntry for 0.0.0.0, other OID's will contain information about the backbone area so it is still partially visible.

Should this not output information for the backbone area?
