Hi team.

In a recently launched public tender here, it is required that 24 or 48 ports 1RU switches have half of the ports capable of delivering 30 W per port (802.3at)... simultaneously. With no external PS.

Can we deliver that either with our 800, B5, C5, Summit X440 or Summit X460 series switches, especially for the 48 ports models? With just one power-supply, and according to the datasheets, I think we cannot deliver simultaneously half of the 48 ports with 30W per port... Perhaps only the C5 and Summit X460...

Our competition here is Dell N2000 series. These switches have one 1000 W power-supply for the PoE+ models...Very aggressive price also...

X460 has a PoE budget of 380W with one internal PSU, and 760W of PoE budget with two internal PSUs.

380W is enough to provide 30W to half the ports of a Summit X460-24p, but to do that with a Summit X460-48p you'll need to install TWO internal PSUs.

Both PSUs are INTERNAL...
