Hi, all!

How can I see (which command) - AC or DC power have a switch?

#show power
PowerSupply 1 information: State : Powered On
PartInfo : Internal PSU-1 1335W-8xxxx 800462-00-04
Output 1 : 12.06 V, 2.05 A (12V/200W Max)
Power Usage : 38.03 W

PowerSupply 2 information:
State : Powered On
PartInfo : Internal PSU-2 1335W-8xxxx 800462-00-04
Output 1 : 12.10 V, 2.20 A (12V/200W Max)
Power Usage : 40.95 W

Thank you!

Based on the serial numbers (which I removed) I can tell you that both of those PSUs are Summit 550W AC PSU FB. The system number (800515-00) can also be used to determine this.
Depending on the PSU model, some will tell you the input voltage and type.

This is from an X460 with an AC PSU:
# show power
PowerSupply 1 information:
State : Powered On
PartInfo : EDPS-300AB A-S9 1332E-xxxxx 800515-00-03
Input : 207.62 V AC
Output 1 : 11.98 V, 5.48 A (12V/300W Max)
Power Usage : 84.16 WHere's the same from an 8806 with AC PSUs:
# show power
PowerSupply 1 information:
State : Powered On
PartInfo : PS 2336 0644K-xxxxx 4300-00145
Revision : 11.0
Odometer : 1272 days 16 hours
Temperature : 30.0 deg C
Fan 1 : 6473 RPM
Fan 2 : 6473 RPM
Input : 218.00 V AC
Output 1 : 47.86 V, 4.00 A (48V/1092W Max)
Power Usage : 248.62 W I don't think I have any DC PSUs connected in the lab right now to test other models. Others here on The Hub may be able to provide some examples though.

Actually PSU is not a part of ExtremeXOS Network Operating System, like any ATX PSU is not a part of Windows OS or Mac OS X.
Another side of this question that PSU has no standard for such outputs like DDMI for optic modules.

If you really need to check Nominal input voltage you could check next output
* X440-24p-10G[35].1 # debug hal show platform platformInfo | i Nominal Nominal line voltage: 120 V

Hi, Nikolay!

But EXOS commands have to have some standardized (same) outputs,at least within the lineup Summit X460.

Or I'm wrong?

Thank you!

Hi Alexandr,

This is because we have no PoE switches with DC power.
