RFS6000 + NSIGHT

Hi, Is it possible to use an existing RFS6000 along with a standalone NSIGHT server? Or is it pointless and should scrap the RFS6000 and switch to NX or VX9000?

Thank you both for your answer.

Could you please confirm that the following, stated in the deployment guide, is valid?

Note: VX9000 acting as a standalone NSight server does not require VX platform license. Only NSight
licenses should be installed. So only one of the following is adequate? VX9-NSIGHT-1 VX-9000 NSight Perpetual License for 1 AP VX9-NSIGHT-16 VX-9000 NSight Perpetual License for 16 APs VX9-NSIGHT-64 VX-9000 NSight Perpetual License for 64 APs VX9-NSIGHT-256 VX-9000 NSight Perpetual License for 256 APs VX9-NSIGHT-1024 VX-9000 NSight Perpetual License for 1024 APs VX9-NSIGHT-2048 VX-9000 NSight Perpetual License for 2048 Aps

Hi,

taken from the NSight deployment guide shared above

.
Appliance license is actually needed only for AP adoption.

Thank you.

That is a correct statement. A standalone NSight server does not require VX platform license. Only NSight licenses should be installed.
