Hi Guys,

Am connecting X670V 40G port with X770-32q 40G port. So i have configured the both the switch for 40 G but it is not coming up as 40 G.

When i make port 97 as a 40 G it is giving below message,

X770-32q # configure port 97 partition 1x40GWarning: Configuration will be lost on ports 97
No configuration changes should be made on these ports until after
         the next reboot.
This command will only take effect after save configuration and reboot.

I can't reboot my 40G switch now because it is live.

Output:

Unfortunately, a reboot is the only way to make the partitioning mode change take effect.
