To use the Privet IP using the public IP assigned directly to Extreme switch

Hi, I have "System Type: X440-48t" "version -16.1.3.6" used as server farm. I have connected the ISP leased line from ISP switch directly to server farm and assigned a public IP in the switch’s ISP Vlan. Now I am able to reach the ISP gateway which is Cisco switch from X440-48t and I am able to access the switch from outside. Now we don’t have access to the ISP switch for which we are not able to do a static route back to our private network. So is there any possibility to enable NAT in our switch so that I can translate the private IP to public. If NAT cannot be enabled are there any other options?

Hi Andre and Ronald,
Thank you very much you kind and quick reply.
I wanted to know weather NAT can be enabled in our switch which you have confirmed as no.

once again thank you very much for all.

Good stuff! Welcome to the Hub Abdul.

3. buy a cheap firewall to do NAT

No, the Summit X440 doesn't support NAT.
You have two choices:
1. You get a public network from your provider which you use for private purposes (not very likely)
2. You buy a SSA Switch - this one can do NAT
