untagged vlan configuration on securestack b2

Hello Extreme Forum,

I want to create 2 untagged VLANs on an SecureStack B2.
The ports 1-32 + 47-48 should be used by the office net.
In this case I use VLAN 1.
Everything works fine, I can connect to the other stations.
Ports 33-46 should be used in as GuestWiFi (VLAN 2).
When I connect 2 or more devices in the ports 33-46, no communication is possible.
I can't ping or connect.

VLAN 1 and VLAN 2 should be separated as untagged ports.
There is no need to communicat between both VLANs.

Here one more what is the configuration:

Static List:
1 Default Enabled
2 GuestWIFI Enabled

VLAN Static Table
1 Default
Egress ge.1.1-32, ge.1.47-48
Forbidden Egress
Untagged ge.1.1-32, ge.1.47-48
2 GuestWIFI
Egress ge.1.33-46
Forbidden Egress
Untagged ge.1.33-46

Where do I have the mistake?

thanks Martin

Web interface is fine but you have to set both the VLAN egress and the port vlan.

Hey Ron,

thanks ... this was the solution.
Next time I'll not waste time with the web-interface.

Let's start with the obvious.... that's not a screenshot 🙂

The second thing is that ge.1.33-46 should show VLAN #2 in the VLAN column.

Conclusion: wrong configuration

Solution:
# set port vlan ge.1.33-46 2 modify-egress
# save config
