What is the " ECN rework " of the FA?

Please explain this in detail.

FA : BDXA-10G48X

FA Report :

  1.Visual Inspection – Passed

  2.Confirmed customer's failure symptom – No

  3.ECN rework (Yes/No) – No . 

  4.Function Test (Alpha Diag) –  Passed

  5.Traffic test,(Overnight) –  Passed

As far as I understand, ECN means "Engineering Change Number".
That means, if there is a need for a hardware rework on "older" HW revisions that will be documented in a ECN.
The fact that in your case it's marked as "No" means there is no change needed.
