I tried to boot off image 2 but had the same result. I then did some reading online and someone suggested to load a non existing config file by running config something, This didnt seem to help. I then decided to update the xos, So I downloaded the latest available for the switch which seems to be 12.6.5.2. Update completed successfully and cleared out all the configs. It rebooted and boot confirms its loading Starting ExtremeXOS 12.6.5b2 but still I get the same error message as above.

I am not quite sure how to run a hardware diagnostics to see if there is a hardware fault with the unit, or I am just doing something wrong

Hello Drew. Thank you for the last bootrom. I understand that you can flash the bootrom only under fully load switch. So to me it does not help.
Unfortunately I communicate with you through a translator (Google), and do not quite understand about the ring off the power to the switch, I'm sorry.

Before switching the switch to maintain 15-20 seconds?

Hi Drew , I ask you to help solve similar problemmy. Please send x250e-48p on the device , the last BootRom. Many thanks!

Hi Alexandr, Welcome to The Hub!
You can download the file from our FTP server: http://tech.extremenetworks.com/ftp/ftp_new.aspx?file=summit-pmon_1.0.5.7.xtr

I also want to mention that I’ve seen similar errors on switches that need to be completely power-cycled with a 15-20 second delay in re-applying power. Have you’ve tried that already?
Based on Mark's experiences above, I'd bet that you'll need to RMA the switch.

Just to update everyone, Unfortunately it looks like this is indeed a hardware fault and will be RMA'd. I contact GTAC last night and would like to personally thank Sumeesh for his help and patience and truly outstanding support.

The switch would just not accept the Bootrom file to upgrade, It didn't even look like it tried to transfer the whole file. It started and would then stop before it got to to the end. The management port at this stage would also then completely drop offline and I would have to reboot to reconfigure the IP to get it back on the network.

A million thank you's to Drew and Sumeesh for your help and time, your guys are awesome! No questions from me for what hardware to keep buying in the future if this is the level of support I can expect.
