Hello, Has anyone seen these types of errors? We are seeing these in the log for both switches in a 2-switch stack. Is it really possible that 2 switches are having similar fan problems at the same time? 05/15/2015 10:39:17.80 Slot-2: Slot-2, Error 5: Fan #4 in slot 2 operational. We got it. It is due to the version of XOS we are running there. We just pulled the fans and took pics of the serials. lol

Sorry to bring this up again, but I need to retrieve the fan serial numbers for GTAC. They suggested running sh fan det, but that doesn't show any serial numbers. Is there a different place I can check? Please keep in mind that I'm currently running XOS 12.5.4.5patch1-4. Thanks for any tips.

Whew, no rebuilding of the stack then. That's good for me. 

Stanley,

The Summit X460 fans are modular and can be replaced.
