Greetings,

Can someone from Extreme provide some guidance w.r.t. Java licensing...
https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/overview/oracle-jdk-faqs.html
https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/overview/faqs-jsp-136696.html

Should customers switch to OpenJDK for Windows/Linux based installs?
What about the appliance releases?

Thanks

Hi,

from the same source:
The current version of Java - Java SE 11 is available from Oracle under an open source license at http://jdk.java.net/11/. Java SE 8 remains free of charge for general purpose desktop and server use and is available under the Oracle Binary Code License (BCL) at https://www.oracle.com/javadownload.

In addition you do not need Java on the client, you can use OneView = HTML based.

On the server part all is properly licensed.
