Hello Jairo,

What version are you coming from and going to? Can you please elaborate on "smaller" version?

Hello Jairo,

It looks like it installed just fine.If you are trying to install a different image then you just need to go through the same process you went through to get 16.1.3.6 on the switch.

need is the command to uninstall the last mount version

Hi Jairo, please check the Article below to avoid a login issue when downgrading the firmware from 16.x to 15.x:

Cannot log into EXOS switch after downgrading from EXOS 16 to an earlier release

Hi Jairo, you can use the procedure described in the article below:

How to obtain a copy of the EXOS software and upgrade EXOS switches

You can follow the same procedure described under "Software upgrade procedure"

Just make sure to backup the configuration in ASCII and XML formats. It's recommended

Please check the article below about how to backup the switch configuration:

How to upload Backup Configuration to TFTP server on an EXOS switch

Just follow the Method 1 step1 for ASCII and Method 2 steps 1 and 2 for XML
Jairo:

In the "show version images" output you provided, you still have 15.5.3.4 in the primary partition. Simply issue
use image primary
and reboot the switch. I presume this is the image you were running prior to the upgrade to 16.3.1.6.

There's no way to roll back to whatever image existed in the secondary partition prior to your upgrade, but since EXOS does not allow you to install to an active partition, it's likely the primary is what you were running before. Once you're booted into the primary partition, you can download a new image into the secondary partition, using the article detailing software upgrade provided by Henrique above.

Jairo:

The screenshot you provide is absolutely correct and expected behavior.

That partition has been written with the 16.1.3.6 image; it cannot be uninstalled, only installed over.

If you wish to return to the 15.x image present on the primary partition,
use image primary
reboot
And then you may install a 15.x image to the secondary partition, if you wish.

You can use the uninstall image command to uninstall the ssh xmod, but not the base code in the partition.
