ExtremeXOS Release 30.1.1 Release Announcement
We are pleased to announce the availability of the ExtremeXOS (EXOS) 30.1 release. Key new features in the release include:
- Introduces MACsec support to help address the need for secure communications. MACsec can be added without expensive forklift upgrade via an Adapter (which will GA later this quarter) that plugs into existing EXOS switches. MACsec is also natively supported on X460-G2 half-duplex models with this release.
- Adds new Standalone Proxy capability to the Fabric Attach support introduced in EXOS 22.4. Fabric Attach Standalone Proxy helps automates edge device attachment to a VLAN core infrastructure.
- Uplift to the EXOS infrastructure through support of the latest Linux Kernel LTS (4.14) release which provides enhanced kernel security and new feature support, including VXLAN slow-path and native VR support.
