Harry, I have not tested this but i found an article similar to what you are looking for. https://gtacknowledge.extremenetworks.com/articles/Q_A/Is-There-Any-Way-to-Determine-What-Ports-Are-Unused Let us know if this helps.
Thanks Karthik for this advice, but it dont work with our XOS devices. I know this tool from my early cabletron days. It seems that this will not work with summit Switches. There was a realy fine Report in Ridgeline included. You could see how Long there is no Traffic on the specified port.

Here is flexview for NetSight:
https://github.com/extremenetworks/Netsight-Report-Views/tree/master/FlexView/Networking
https://github.com/extremenetworks/Netsight-Report-Views/blob/master/FlexView/Networking/tpl/Port%20...

you need to download whole file (save as, not copy and paste from browser). The flexview was tested with Cisco & EnterasysOS & XOS 🙂

good luck

There is an unused port report in Inventory manager. It takes a little cleaning up but....

Here is a link to a PDF I created for some of our customers.
