How many Core licenses are required in a stack of EXOS X460-G2 in Master / Backup scheme?

Thanks for the answer, and if the scheme was Master / Standby with only 2 switches in the stack, how many CORE licenses do I need?

Just one license would be needed in that scenario.

(2) one each for the master in backup, the other  nodes don't need licenses

Doesn't matter what is the firmware version on the switches? It is always the same number of licenses in any of the two schemes?

I am not aware of any firmware related differences.

I do strongly recommend the the master/backup option though.
