Hello Sreerangaraju

Can you give me some more information as to what the sate was before you loaded the new code? Was the switch up and working? If so what version of code where you running on it?

If the switch is in a constant reboot then you will need to break into the bootrom and either select the other image container or download a new image from the bootrom option. There are instructions for how to do this in the XOS user guide.

Please reply back with your answers or if you are having issues getting into the bootrom.

Thanks
P

Please also share the console output showing any error messages.
Thanks for the reply. This was a new chassis which was sitting in our storage for few years. I thought to power up and see what is running but it was rebooting continuously. Here is the log from bootup to download image and bootup again.

Hi Sreerangaraju,

It looks like the minimum EXOS version for the X650-24x is 12.2.2, not 12.2.1.

Also, depending on the VIM installed, the minimum EXOS version may be higher. Please see the "Summit X650 Series Switches Component Support" table in the Extreme Hardware/Software Compatibility Matrix.
