Have looked all over the support pages and can not find where I can download virtual EXOS. Be very grateful if someone can point me in the right direction.

My thanks.

Hi Paul, thanks for posting. Having problems downloading, looks like issues around the login credentials its asking for. Put my extranet details in but it just drops me back to the main page.

Thanks.

Hey Marin

I was afraid of that I will have IT look into it. In the mean time here's a newer version of the VM. I also have the documentation on how to load it as well as virtualbox in case you dont have that loaded.

The other files are examples of scripts as well as datasheets.

good luck

Bumping this old thread to share a new link for Virtual EXOS downloads. The EXOS Virtual Machine files are now hosted on Github.
https://github.com/extremenetworks/Virtual_EXOS

This is also documented in this GTAC Knowledge article: Where to download the latest version of EXOS VM?

Keep getting problems whenever I try to download this, possibly about spaces in folder names?

Hi Martin,
If you "view the full file" or "View Raw" does it prompt you to download? The ISO and xos files can't be "viewed" per se.
The "Spaces in folder names are bad" comment is a commit note for when I removed spaces 🙂

Well what can I say.... I'm confident I clicked those links and it didn't get me any further, but seems to be ok now!?

Thanks anyway, as happy to have it now 🙂

Martin the iso image is used to create the VM in virtualBox or VMWare. Once the VM is created you can then just download the .xos version for the exospc and do an upgrade from one version to the next just like a regular switch.

If you don't have the VM you can download it from my dropbox at https://www.dropbox.com/sh/93zpha81nlb5c81/AACyV1BdeyIJ9HAeVgJVHjria?dl=0
