Inappropriate Content in the Community

Userlevel 7
Earlier today, a new topic containing an inappropriate image was posted to The Hub. It was removed shortly thereafter and the user has been suspended.
I am working with our community platform provider to see how we can prevent this from happening again.

Thanks for your understanding,
-Drew

Secondary verification of emails and maybe you can't post attachments until you have reached a certain level.

It appeared to be a valid email, or at least it was a valid domain.
There's several threads on our provider's community discussing ways to manage spam (or otherwise) - we don't have direct control over it.

I would not fret too much over this. You all have done an excellent job of policing and keeping this forum on target. You dealt with this incident in a timely manner and with the appropriate action. Just stay diligent and continue to spend your time on helping all who come here for help and not waste too many brain cycles on this...
True! Also, as inappropriate as the image was, most people would probably get a good chuckle from it. It happens. I've seen similar content on Ciscos forums before also.

Thanks for providing some feedback on this Jeremy and EtherMAN. Great to know your thoughts.

Kudos to Drew and our Hub Champions for their quick actions and vigilance.

It's obvious we're all proud of the Community we've built here and its wonderful to see the our members stand up to preserve the trust built in to Hub.

Really good stuff!
