due to allegedly batch defect, we will replace the previously deployed switch with new coming from new batch. please share the step on how to replace the whole stack with minimum downtime.
we have several stacking on the network with 15.2 version, we are planning to swap-out some of them and at the same time update the version. what is the usual practice to do this?
Planning to have stacking using ethernet port in X440 24P switch,when you say port 25 and 26, does it means its the 23 and 24 port or the 21 and 2 optical port? I supposed port 23 and 24, need some confirmation.
got it! meaning the whole stack should be reboot for the new code be applied on the set partition? my unit is X440. no way to upgrade without interrupting the traffic. right?

thanks for the reply Paul, still can't get it. based on the manual you can summitstack-V the x440 using Ethernet via port 25 and 26 (alternative stack port). Are ports 25 and 26 are the ports at the rear of the switch?
