Just a quick query - we are running XMC with an NMS-ADV license which I believe should provide us access to the Connect API functions. However, the connect option is not shown in XMC - does this need to be installed or activated in some way?

correct you need NMS-ADV.
you need to be Netsight Administrator group member = full rights is not enough.
the connect menu is not displayed after first boot. Restart of the nsserver does fix this issue.
