Port Management Problems


HI all,

need a little help from the community in regards to port management.

i have changed various port names to reflect our inhouse apps

once changed i would have assumed they would have been reflected on the reports from that point on, however they do not.

they still reflect the previous port name.

i have done a service reset, and a full reboot to no avail. i have even tried deleting the port and re-adding again to no avail. is this a bug in the program which is yet to be resolved or am i doing something wrong?

Hi,

is this about EMC/Netsight and a switch - please specify the model.
How to you change the port name - CLI, which command
Please provide a screenshot or tell us the exact path where you see the old name / in which report.
