The latest firmware for an AP122 is 10.0r7a. If you've purchased support you can download firmware files from the Hive Community directly. If you have not purchased support, you can either get the firmware from the ExtremeCloud IQ GUI that you use to manage the APs, or let me know what firmware version you're on and what version you would like to go to, and I can email those files to you directly.

When you go to Monitor> Check the box next to the AP> Update Devices> Check the box next to Upgrade HiveOS and Extreme-Aerohive switch images> Upgrade to the specific version> Do you see an option to Add/Remove? If not, you may want to try updating via the Web UI of the AP instead, which this guide covers: https://thehivecommunity.aerohive.com/s/article/Upgrading-AP-firmware-via-web-UI

I clicked the manage tab and selected all sub-tabs but could not find were to upgrade the firmware.

You'll need to go to Manage> Devices subtab. Then check the box next to the AP and click Update Device in the top right hand side of the page.

In the Device Update window that appears, check the box next to "Upgrade HiveOS and Extreme - Aerohive Switch Images". Then you'll want to look for the blue button that says "ADD/REMOVE".

In the Local Image Management window that appears next, click the plus icon at the top of the page and then the blue button that says "Choose".

Choose the file from your local computer.

Thank you for that serial number. If you'd like to remove your comment so the serial number is not on the community any longer, please feel free or let me know and I can do that for you.

I would usually be able to free this device up for you myself, but there is an issue currently preventing me from doing that for you myself. I opened a courtesy support case for you and filed an internal ticket to have that device freed up. I'll update you via the support case as soon as I hear this is complete.
