Im not verry familliar w aerohive products.

It looks like your image might be corrupted ? and needs to be reinstalled from the bootstrap.

But i just managed to get passed the same struggle with “peer cert cannot be …...” .

I found out that when using the switch on a LAN where the hive manager url resolves to a public IPV4 triggers some extra certifiacate verification, versus using the switch on a lan where hive manager resolves to a privet IP.

See: https://getsatisfaction.com/aerohive/topics/hiveagent-servercertificateinfo-peer-certificate-cannot-be-authenticated-with-given-ca-certificates

As for the solution i followed these steps:
Switches outside of the North American Cloud

hivemanager address cloud-ie.aerohive.com
*This is the command to get the switches to CAPWAP if they are international.

https://gtacknowledge.extremenetworks.com/articles/Solution/Connecting-a-SR2200-SR2300-switch-to-HiveManager

And atlast, for software download you need to login to extreme network https://extremeportal.force.com/
locate the sw for download, and when trying to download (if asked) create a support ticket to request a download.

I had to do it myself and they have been verry helpful.

Hi,

I have trouble to get SR2224P connected to our HiveManager. First I got “Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with given CA certifcates”. I checked the dns, time, default gateway, IP-adress to my hive and everything looked fine. I upgraded Hiveagent to 1.1.29, it didn’t help. I could ping google, my hive, both via IP and hostname. I restarted the switch and now it goes to u-boot and I can’t find instruction to solve the problem.

I got this in CLI:

------------------
SF: Detected N25Q512 with page size 64 KiB, total 64 MiB
Validating image
STK validation failed rc 9
STK1 validation failed.Booting STK2
Validating image
STK validation failed rc 9
u-boot>
-------------------

Any idea?

Btw. where can I download OS från the new extremnetworks website? when I search in the community portal under download section all I get is other OS for routers, APs etc. I miss the old Aerohive community.
