I know what data rates are, but the device profiles show high and low data rates, but do not say what they actually are. I can't seem to find this anywhere.

When I select high data rates, what is it enabling/disabling specifically?

Thanks.

Hi Dan, thanks for that screenshot. This is an excerpt from the help page for the radio profile that describes those settings:

"Data Rates to Support:
Choose High data rates to transmit management frames at the highest basic data rate specified in an SSID.
Choose Low data rates to use the lowest basic data rate."

So this setting is essentially telling the AP to either use the highest available data rate for the frames it needs to send, or the lowest available data rate. The actual data rate used will depend in large part on the client device being used, but the AP will use the highest or lowest data rate it can in any given situation, depending on which setting you choose here. Hope that helps!
