[API Deprecation Announcement]: /v1/clientlocation endpoints EOL on July 1, 2019

SUMMARY:

ALL /v1/clientlocation API Endpoints to be deprecated effective July 1, 2019. This has been replaced with /v2/clientlocation.

DETAILS:

Effective July 1, 2019, all Aerohive API endpoints under /v1/clientlocation will be deprecated. This affects the following API Endpoints:

• /v1/clientlocation/clientcount

• /v1/clientlocation/clientpresence

• /v1/clientlocation/clienttimeseries

• /v1/clientlocation/waypoints

• /v1/clientlocation/clientsessions

After July 1, 2019, the above listed API endpoints will cease to function. All developers are urged to check their code and update to the latest /v2 version of these endpoints.

IMPACT:

Any customer using the v1/clientlocation end points will be affected. We, however, have confirmed that only a limited number of developers were using these calls in the recent months.

ACTION NEEDED:

If you have legacy applications still using /v1/clientlocation calls, simply update the path to /v2/clientlocation. New /v2 endpoints are documented at https://developer.aerohive.com/docs/api-documentation

Please note that that /v1/clientlocation/waypoints and /v1/clientlocation/clientsessions are fully deprecated and those endpoints do not have a /v2 version.
