Are you asking how to move a device from a cloud instance in to an on premises instance? If so, you would just want to remove the device from the cloud HiveManager instance and then add it to the on premises HiveManager device inventory. I have two devices that are on a Hive account which has expired and I now cannot remove them.
I have setup a Free Hive account which I want to move them to.

How do I remove the device so I can add it to a free account?

You would need to email me the serial numbers of the devices you need freed up so I can remove the old records from our side. My direct email is communityhelp@aerohive.com.
