Also I would like to know how to download a generated report, every time I receive an error message like this: "Download is only supported for Usage Based reports. Select only Usage Based reports."

When referring to "usage based reports", it means that you can only download WIFI Statistic Summary reports (as opposed to Network Summary, PCI DSS 3.2, or WIPS History reports). I think your best way to view client connectivity trends is going to be on the Monitor> Clients page, using the Historical View and the filters to narrow down the search.
