We had to use NG for our 2300s, which led to our migration off Classic. We ran NG and Classic in tandem for months.

Thank you for the response! Are there any tutorials out there showing how to run them in tandem? The network would pretty much be 1 (new) building running switches and APs on NG, connected to 1 (old) building running switches and APs on Classic, then out to the internet.

That could be a temporary solution as you said until we the summer in which we can migrate everything over.

I’m not aware of any guides. Are you running cloud or on-prem?

Yeah I figured. The classic is running on cloud though.

You can still make it work, just use a separate email address to create the NG account. If it when you do decide to migrate the rest of your environment, be sure to export as much as you can from classic, eg maps & ppsk’s.

Although the transfer may be tedious depending on the complexity, I think you’ll grow to like the overall flow and new features.
