Renewal options for PPSK users - self renewal

a client would like to take advantage of the Renewal function of PPSK user group. Is it possible to have the end user renew their ppsk after or near it expires.

It is possible from the hive manager portal but they wish for the end users to do this.

Their hive runs on NG on-premise.

Understand that it is possible to set a renewal period after the ppsk expires.

I have seen this possible on a guest CWP but not sure if can be applied to ppsk.

This post refers to the Renewal option,

is this available on On-premise NG 12.8.2.2

Or only the cloud hosted platform.
